  • Head to the Middle East and it’s near impossible to find a home kitchen or restaurant pantry without a jar of tahini or za’atar spice blend, so we figured it was time to make your life easier and combine these essential, delicious ingredients into one jar!

    You can now try our Za'atar Tahini in a Tahini Trio, a mixed Tahini Trio which includes two jars of regular tahini or a Pantry Pack which includes one jar of each.

    Our new Organic Za'atar Tahini (16oz) is a delicious blend of tahini and za'atar spice, an earthy, flavorful spice blend, used all across the Middle East and Mediterranean. Za'atar combines dried herbs and seeds, including sesame, oregano, thyme, cumin, coriander, salt and sumac. It’s the sumac that we personally love the most, giving za’atar a slightly tangy and lemony flavor. 

    Tahini is a versatile, nutritious, all natural product that's high in calcium, iron and protein. It fits perfectly in a vegan, gluten free or paleo lifestyle. But above all, it's delicious!

    The tahini is certified kosher by OU. Please email us if you would like to see the certificate. The spices are not kosher certified.

  • TAHINI: Unopened tahini lasts for up to 18 months when stored in a cool, dry place. Store opened jars of tahini for up to 12 months in the fridge, to maintain freshness and slow the separation of natural oil in the sesame seeds, which may start to occur after a few months. If you notice that your tahini has a layer of oil at the top, that doesn’t mean it’s gone bad! All you need to do is stir the jar.

    SPICES: We source the highest quality, freshest spices available for our blends. Spices do not go bad, but they do lose their potency as time goes by. The older the spices are, the less flavor they will impart in your recipes. To fully enjoy them at their best, we recommend storing your spices out of direct sunlight and using them our spices within a year from the date of purchase.
