This turmeric tahini sauce goes great with a bowl with roasted maitake mushrooms, cauliflower and crispy chickpeas! We love the bright yellow color of this sauce and its powerful medicinal propoerties. This is a total superfood dish.
1/4 c tahini
3-5 tbs iced water (depending on your desired thickness)
1/2 tsp ground turmeric
1 tbs maple syrup
1 clove garlic finely chopped
pinch of salt and pepper
Optional: 1 golden beet (pre-boiled)
1. Blend or whisk all ingredients together.
2. Add the golden beet for a thicker texture, if preferred.
3. Top with sliced veggies, herbs or nuts, or use it plain for dipping!
The sauce will keep in the fridge for a couple of days.
