Making these gluten-free, vegan Halva Rocky Road bars couldn't be simpler and is an absolute crowd pleaser - for kids and adults alike!
1 cup melted dark chocolate
1 cup Organic Tahini
1/2 cup salty sweet popcorn
1/2 cup halva chopped into cubes - in any of our vegan flavors (we like pistachio!)
1/2 cup roasted peanuts - or any other nut - we also like macadamia, pecan or walnuts!
1. Place all ingredients in a bowl and gently combine (careful not to crumble the halva too much)
2. Pour mixture into a loaf tin, lined with plastic wrap
3. Refrigerate until firm
4. Take Rocky Road out of loaf tin and slice into bars, squares or any shape you like!
The best part about this recipe is that you can experiment with all sorts of other additions. Try adding dried fruit like cranberries, dates or sultanas. Or if you feel like impressing the kids, add marshmellows, gummy bears or even pop rocks! Have fun, break all the rules and enjoy!
