We know you all love our tahini soft-serve, but can't always get over to NYC's Chelsea Market. So, we're sharing a handful of recipes for making tahini ice cream at home in a Ninja Creami. No Ninja Creami? No problem! You can also make these recipes in a food processor, or blender (see our notes at the bottom for an alternative method).
Notes:
-
Most of these recipes are designed to work for both dairy and non-dairy alternatives. We've also tried to use natural sweeteners throughout.
-
When using the Ninja Creami, we found that adding a little extra liquid in between spins (see method below) created the optimal texture, but this depends on your personal preference.

Method for All Flavor Options
If using a Ninja Creami:
-
-
For best texture, blend all ingredients in a food processor before adding to the Ninja Creami cup. (We also tested pouring all ingredients directly into the cup and shaking vigorously, without blending first — this worked well too.)
-
Freeze the mixture in the Ninja Creami cup overnight.
-
Spin once, then add 2–3 tablespoons of your recipe's milk (or liquid of choice) to loosen the texture, and spin a second time. We found two spins gave the best result.
-
Once smooth and creamy, it's ready to enjoy!
-
If using a blender or food processor only:
-
-
Blend all ingredients thoroughly.
-
Freeze in a sealed container overnight.
-
Let sit at room temperature for about 5 minutes, then break into chunks and re-blend in a high-powered blender or food processor until smooth.
-
Sundae Toppings
Your choice! For every version, we highly recommend finishing with a drizzle of our Chocolate Sesame Sauce, a drizzle of Organic Tahini, a crumble of Toasted Sesame Halva, and fresh fruit.
